Social-media bankruptcy

Given the increasing gap between my aspirations for this blog, and the actual content that's accreted here to date, I've been tempted to declare the blog equivalent of email bankruptcy, -- social bankruptcy, perhaps? -- but I'm just not that kind of perfectionist. Instead - apologies to all those who've contacted me through this blog. I just wasn't ready for the quantity of feedback that resulted from two particular posts.
